Hillside Backyard
This back yard in the Upper Rockridge district of Oakland involved extensive dry stack stone walls, grading, several flagstone patios, a stairway, an automatic irrigation system, lawn and plantings. The project was designed by Katrine Benninger, of Landscape Design, in Oakland. The plantings are wild and whimsical reflecting the personalities of the home owners. We had to work quickly on this project to finish ahead of the rainy season.
